Replacement M156 Cam Phaser Plates

VRP is happy to offer the strongest phaser plates on the market. The bodies are machined from AMERICAN 4340QT, a 62HRC bearing steel bushing is then pressed in. Finally the body and bushing are Precision Ground leaving the surfaces perfectly flat. These plates ARE over engineered.

It is highly recommended that you replace the cover plates when changing the lock plates. Factory cover plates can warp and cause oil to seep from the adjuster, a new cover plate ensures the adjuster stays filled with oil and ensures longevity

• AISI 4340HT billet steel, heat treated to 50-55HRc (versus less than 20 for the OEM stuff).
• Increased surface area of the bottom of the keyhole for the pin to rest on (prevents wear at the bottom of the keyhole)
• Deeper oil groove for faster locking and unlocking of the mechanism
• 52100 Hardened(62HRc) Bearing Steel ported, shrink-fitted reinforcement insert for a true forever solution (reinforced version only)
• Precision ground on both sides to ensure absolute parallelism and flatness.
• Every part was carefully deburred and dimensionally inspected to ensure the customer receives a ready-to-install solution
