W205 2.65 Ring and Pinion Gear set

Ring and pinion sets engineered for the W205 C63 and C63S. Whether you’re running big turbos, upgraded fueling, and serious power or simply want to optimize your gear ratios for your specific driving style, proper gearing is critical to staying in the powerband and maximizing performance.

Our 2.65:1 ratio is a taller gear compared to factory ratios, allowing your high-power M177 to stay within the optimal powerband for quarter mile racing and improved 60-130 MPH or 100-200 KM/H acceleration times. The taller gearing reduces stress on the drivetrain while keeping your turbos spooled and your engine in the meat of the power curve.

VRP also offers 2.82:1 and 3.06:1 ratios so you can fine-tune how your C63 behaves, whether you’re focused on highway roll racing, road course work, autocross, or daily driving responsiveness.

Important: Changing rear gear ratio requires ECU recalibration for proper speedometer, transmission shift points, and traction control operation.
